Excellent country pub real ales friendly welcome, good food well worth a visit for that lovely homely feel with all the qualities you look for.
Excellent meals prepared professionally with good wholesome produce. Our party of four were served promptly and efficiently. Very good value for money. We will certainly be back.

The starter of prawns was cooked to perfection. My partner who had the lamb for main said it was the best cooked lamb she had tasted for a long time. I had the homemade steak and ale pie and could not fault it.
The Three Tuns manages to offer a varied menu - including both British and Spanish dishes - without losing any of its traditional charm. Reasonably priced and focused on the community it serves, it provides a reminder of just how good an English pub can be.

Despite arriving surprisingly fast, roast dinners in pubs rarely have this much taste.
Ordering the Sunday lunch proves fortuitous as it is the best we have had in ages: tender slices of roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, velvety smooth mashed potato, nice crunchy vegetables and cauliflower cheese.
This pub is a traditional house, sixteenth century oak beamed bar with open fire and real ale in a tankard if this is what you like. But the real feature is the home cooking...
